Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright as well as Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. She was in 1997 when she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto for her acting to advance, then she moved to Los Angeles California. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 and were married at an unofficial ceremony in took place in December. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011, they renewed vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk is a variety of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for her performance. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the joyous information that she was pregnant while filming Season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the series' premiere. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for the Fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its prominence on social media has earned it a large internet following.
